All Ford Day, Geelong

Dear Members,

Just a final final reminder (I promise) regarding entries for the All Ford Day. Roger has spoken to the organizers and we’re still a bit light on for numbers. The deadline is now Tuesday 31^st January. We know there are entries on the way. We have booked for 40 coupes and we still have room.

Also, we are looking for a couple more volunteers for judging. You will be looked after by the organizers and it’s a very interesting exercise. Many hands make light work.

Dear Members,

Don’t forget the deadline to have your entries in with payment by Saturday 28^th January 2012. This will come around quickly so please make sure you get them in. Don’t forget to let me know when you do so we can ensure there’s enough real estate for everyone.

Also, could we have a couple of volunteers to assist with judging?? The organizers will provide lunch in a dining room for your trouble. It’s not too arduous and it’s not a concourse event so you don’t have to be an expert. It’s an interesting and worthwhile exercise.

Dear Members,

The annual All Ford Day will be happening on Sunday 19^th February 2012 at Deakin University, Waurn Ponds (Geelong).

We will meet at the BP Service Station at Avalon (as per last time) and will depart from there at 8am sharp.

Unlike previous years members are to send in their pre-registration entries and payment direct to the organizers. All club cars are to be pre-registered and paid by Saturday 28^th January 2012. Late entries and those on the day cannot park in the club display area so please, note this deadline and get your entries in ASAP. It may sound like a fair way off but it will come around quickly. Just let me know so I can keep track of numbers and let the organizers know if we need more room. I’d hate for anyone to be squeezed out.

We have booked the same site as last year to accommodate 40 coupes so we’d love to fill it up. The Cobra Club have an adjoining site so we should be able to accommodate everyone.

This is the biggest event for the year so would love to see everyone there.
