It was a dull and overcast day as we made our way to rendezvous at Shell Westgate for the cruise to Geelong. Once we were all assembled it was time to make our way to Geelong. We picked up Con along the way and waved "see ya later" to Gary as he peeled off for a date with the Great Ocean Road.

Once there the queue to get into the show area was long but always moving. We found our site without difficulty and set ourselves up. It was great to see Len making the trek from Maryborough and Greg presenting his stunning XA Superbird, just back on the road after a big resto job.

Our display attracted a lot of attention and enquiries about the club. Plenty of cards were given away and we recruited two new members.

A few of us had to leave early but most hung around until late. Even then the cruise back through Geelong was pretty slow going but once we got onto the freeway the cruise back was a lot smoother.

Big thanks to the chef, Jamie, for his efforts with the BBQ. Great job at improvising without the proper utensils.

This is a great show and the biggest one for the year. It is very well organized and with so many Ford fanatics in one place it's the perfect opportunity to show off your coupe. I look forward to seeing everyone here next year.
