What a day! 10 coupes, plus a mustang and an xr8. The weather was kind - a little warm and a little cold, but good overall. A couple of new coupes and more than a couple of new faces - a great day all round with roughly 40 in attendance. Lots of food and good company made for a great day out. The kids were busy with the footballs, cricket gear etc and really appreciated the treasure hunt and lolly bags. The face painting went over a treat, a few of us big kids went for it as well.
It was great to see some new faces along as well, welcome aboard. It was also great to see some old heads around as well and seeing everyone socialise.
A huge thanks to everyone who brought food and other treats to share. Some folks went to a lot of trouble to prepare salads and others donated prizes for our Christmas raffle. Big thanks also to everyone who helped out setting up, cooking and cleaning up afterwards. Special mention to club stalwart Jamie for arranging the venue.
It was a great way to wind up a fantastic year for the club. We are well under way planning for next year and have the first few months mapped out.
