Beach Day and Drive In Night, Dromana – 17^th January 2009

It was a bright and sunny day as we cruised down Eastlink en route to Dromana for our traditional new year kick-off run.  

We got there, found a park for the coupe and met up with Jamie, family & friends along with Dave, Jan & family having a game of beach cricket. We were joined shortly by Stuart & Nathan, Roger, Lindsay & Tracey with Jack & Colleen joining us later. 

We managed to fluke car parks all of us in a row!! 

After lazing around on the beach we headed over to the pub for dinner, a few drinks and a chat (mostly car related of course!!). 

Afterwards some of us headed home while the rest headed to the drive-in. As we were having a very pleasant drive home via Mt Martha and Mornington the die-hards were setting up at the drive-in.

A few of us, not wanting to return home on such a beautiful night,  headed off to Dromana drives. Lindsay lead the way, with Stuart, Dave, Jack & I following.

We arrived at the Dromana Drive In  and after a brief chat with the ticket selling lady (she remembered seeing Coupes when they were new) we all drove in and got ready to settle down.

Lindsay managed to secure our group a great spot! We got the kids ready, tuned our radios in, sat back and watched "Bolt". All the kids enjoyed it and judging from the look on the adults faces, they were not disappointed either . For our first experience at Dromana Drive-in, Jack and I could not have asked for a better night.
