The annual dyno day was just beginning as I dragged the race coupe out to give it a kicking. Unfortunately my belt throwing issue from Calder raised its ugly head again on the way. I decided to turn back and get the GT instead.

By the time I finally made it to the Goodguys Performance Centre, Gary had just had his run. He had recorded 158hp and was deep in discussion with Eric. Craig was next up and pulled 141hp. Lindsay was there with Dave's car and recorded 264hp. Great result, Dave will be rapt. My turn next with the GT. Just as the car powered up it just went pop. I managed to achieve three broken pushrods and put a nice little s-bend in one. Some days it just doesn't pay to get out of bed!!

Peter turned up to spectate and lend some support. The day finished with my car going back home on the back of a tow truck!! Thanks to Lindsay, Craig and Peter for their help in getting the car back. Thanks to Eric for his advice and help.

Despite my misfortune it was still a good day. We got heaps of great information and tips from Eric. We'll do it again next year and would love to get some more cars along.
