It was time again for our much-anticipated annual dyno day as we turned up to see what sort of numbers our cars could produce.

Craig was first up and registered 120.4kw/161.5hp. He was pretty happy with that, an improvement on last year. The car seemed to be running pretty well although Eric advised fresh fuel might have been of some benefit.

Next up was Peter who recorded 117.9kw/158.1hp. He was expecting better but Eric discovered the carby was running on the primaries only. Eric gave Peter some tips on remedying the situation.

Roger brought his stock as a rock XB Sedan he recently bought. Its a nice unit, a 302 4spd complete with original 2 barrel carby. He got 97.2kw/130.3hp with no issues.

Jamie was next in and achieved 174.8kw/234.4hp. He was expecting more but a distributor problem cut the revs a bit short. There is still a lot more to come from this motor.

I was last cab off the rank and was rapt to get 231.7kw/310.7hp, which is an improvement on last year but threw 2 belts in the process. Thats the hat trick; 3 years in a row Ive had a drama. Still, it was a great day out.

Ben and Scott were on hand to spectate, Dave and Paul dropped in for a look later on.

Afterwards we all cruised to Jamies for a BBQ and get the famous Gossy fired up and moving under its own steam.

It was a great day out and would love to get more members along next time.

Big thanks to Eric and Wendy from Goodguys Performance Centre, also to Jamie for organizing the day and the BBQ.

See ya on the road,

Stu.
