The Hardtop Anniversary is planned to be a three day event. The event format is yet to be confirmed however a rough outline follows: Provisional Event Format Friday: Arrival, meet & greet, event registration at the Paddlewheel Motel, 385 High St, Echuca. Ph (03) 5482 3822. The Paddlewheel Motel will effectively be the admin headquarters for this event. Friday evening – The Echuca Lions Club will be on hand at the Paddle Wheel carpark for the BBQ, $10.00 per head, kids rate to be negotiated. Saturday: Proposed Driving events at DECA .
Saturday DECA – No change in format. Important note: DECA is a closed event. Admittance is limited ONLY to event entrants and accompanying guests, including family members. The gate will be attended by club volunteers who will have a list on hand. Any person not on this list will not be admitted. When submitting your entry form it is in your interests to list the names of all family members and guests you are bringing. General members of the public and those not listed will NOT BE ADMITTED. This is an insurance requirement. Saturday Night – Will be held at the Merool Caravan Park function room. This will be a dance with a jukebox full of ‘70’s music. Guests can get right into the ‘70’s theme. There will be finger food and a shuttle bus running to transport guests back to the main motels in Echuca. For those driving and staying sober there is heaps of car parking The cost is still to be determined, full details to be confirmed. Sunday: Grand parade "Coupe Cavalcade" from Morley Ford to Harbour display area. Show n' Shine
Sunday Show n’ shine. – Lions club will have a food and drink outlet on site. Trophy categories as per last time (best XA, XB, XC, Landau, Superbird, Goss Special, Cobra, GT, Mod & Custom and Peoples Choice) runner up trophies will also be offered. Entrants can only nominate ONE category. Dinner on Sunday night.
Sunday Night – Will be held at Radcliffe’s Restaurant and Function Centre, 2-6 Radcliffe Street, Echuca (Just opposite the display area). There will be a 2 course buffet dinner, guest speakers, trophy presentations and other activities. Cost per head to be determined. Accommodation: We are NOT offering accommodation packages as suggested by the flyer. Instead we have arranged a deal with several places for Hardtop Anniversary entrants. The entry fee will allow for participation in the observation run, spectator access to DECA, participation in the coupe cavelcade, participation in the show n’ shine and eligibility for judging in trophy categories. Each entrant will receive an entrants pack which will include an entrants polo shirt and other items TBA. Entry Forms: Entry forms will be available from the end of April 2009 Code of conduct This will be published and will be a part of the entry form. Any entries received with this component unsigned or components deleted will not be accepted. Any breach of the code of conduct may result in expulsion from the event and may also result in Police involvement. Entry fees and extra fees paid will NOT be refunded. |
