Shepparton - Sunday 11th December

Dear Members,

Our friends at Ford Forums are conducting a National Christmas Toy Cruise on Sunday 11^th December 2011. For Victoria this will be a cruise to Victoria Park Lake at Shepparton. Bring a BBQ or a picnic. In the event of bad weather the Shepparton Showgrounds have been made available as a plan B.

There will be a Show n’ Shine with trophies for best exterior, best interior, best under bonnet, best overall etc.

It is a gold coin donation to enter and each car is to bring a new toy as a present. These will be distributed by the Salvation Army direct to children who don’t have toys for Christmas. There is no need to wrap the toys as they will be distributed by the Salvo’s in appropriate age groups. Money raised will also be donated to the Salvo’s.

If anyone is interested in attending please reply to me and I will pass on names (ie Craig B) to the organizers at Ford Forums.

There are meeting points at the Ford Factory in Broadmeadows and at Cranbourne. We can arrange our own meeting point. Timings and further info will follow.
