Here's my XA GS Fairmont (GT Replica) after having undergone a full restoration. It's a factory 351 'K' code auto with power steer, power windows and factory AC. Finished in original Copper Bronze.
I decided my XC needed a playmate so I looked into good old e-bay and found this one. It looked like a good thing so I threw in a bid or two and won the auction.
When I got it home I found the preparation under the paint was not too good, in fact the paint on the rear half of the car was starting to ooze off!! There was no choice but to get a full body job done. In the meantime I thought I'd get the engine rebuilt and give it a bit of a tickle.

It all worked out pretty well. I'm extremely happy with the end result, the body and paint is fantastic.
The motor is nice and strong with just a bit of fine tuning needed. |
