| They're about to start filming Mad Max 4 so on Sunday 29th August 2010 let's go back to where it all started in the late 70's. Filming of Mad Max 1 was done in and around Melbourne in areas such as Spotswood, Laverton, Werribee and Little River. On this tour we will visit some of the filming locations and re-live one of the greatest Aussie car movies ever made. We will visit the "Halls of Justice", the road where they crashed through the caravan, the road where Max caught up with the bikies, the bridge where Max crashed into the bikies plus more. We will meet at 10am at the Shell Westbound Westgate (be-aware of changed entry if travelling from eastern suburbs you must take Melbourne Airport / Todd Road exit after exiting the Domain Tunnel). |
