It was a cold, wet morning as I agonized over whether (pun intended) to go or not, let alone take the coupe!! The coupe made up its mind by refusing to start. It had battery dramas so rather than muck around with it we headed direct to the venue in our 'civillian' transport.

There was a lot of spare real estate there, the weather had put a lot of people off from coming to display and there were very few spectators. Still, there were some very nice cars there and something for all tastes.

We had a decent turnout of 10 coupes there which in the scheme of things wasn't too bad. We were on a combined run with the Falcon Cobra Club so it made for a decent display. I left just after lunch, the cold was getting to me.

The last couple of years we had fluked good weather for this event but I feel the organizers need to re-evaluate the timing of it to coincide with better weather. This is a fantastic venue and it is well organized, this show will be huge in the warmer months. Something to ponder
